A LINE-UP of bands has been announced for this year's Ashbourne Beer Festival, which takes place next month.
The event, which is organised by the town's branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, will take place at the town hall and will feature 60 hand-picked beers.
Musicians will be on stage throughout the three day festival, which takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 10, 11 and 12 and the first crop of acts has been confirmed and announced by volunteers.
Derby-based Irish-Cajun band Swamp Trash are taking the Saturday night slot, following on from the appropriately-named Foaming Pints who will be on stage from 5pm on Saturday.
On Friday, the opening day of the festival, another local band, Rock Buffet, is confirmed for the evening slot.
Talks are underway with a handful of other acts to fill up the other empty slots and organisers hope to announce the final few bookings in the coming weeks.
