THE organisers of the Ashbourne Festival 2014 Summer Art Exhibition are on the look out for local artists to submit work for this year’s event.

Organisers said: “The exhibition is always a highlight of the festival and the quality of submitted work gets better and better every year. As usual the exhibition will be a mix of invited artists from Derbyshire and the region, plus local artists submitting their excellent work.

“The invited artists confirmed for this year are painters Rachael Pinks and Ingrid Karlsson-Kemp, sculptors Jane Bevan, Simon Manby and Maggie Cullen, printer Zoe Badger and photographer Paul Hill.”

The exhibition will take place in Ashbourne town hall and will be open to the public, free of charge, from Saturday, June 21 until Saturday, June 28.
