POLICE are trying to track down a man who is alleged to have “become aggressive” towards a fellow dog walker in Ashbourne.
The two pet owners were walking in fields behind North Leys and a female walker reported to police that a dispute arose between them and the male started shouting and became aggressive.
Police want to speak to the man, who is white, around 6ft 4in and of large build. He had a child with him, spoke with a Scottish accent and was walking a collie dog.
The incident happened at around 9am on Saturday, July 26 and police have today issued an appeal for witnesses.
Anyone with any information, or who may be able to identify the man, is asked to call PC Craig Sharpe at Ashbourne Police on 101.
