ONCE again, after just a few hours of torrential rain, Park Road is the scene of chaos, as rush hour traffic attempts to navigate its way through nearly a foot of flood water.
Local residents Ron Tunnicliffe and Nicky Johnson are doing their best to keep water created by the traffics' bow waves out of their houses.
Ron said: "I've been here more than 55 years and every time it rains heavily this happens. The water races through my garage and I have to make sure I keep an eye on it or the house will be flooded again.
"It's just not on. Something needs to be done to prevent this, and drivers need to be more considerate as they go past and think about what happens to the waves they create."
