AN ESTATE agent has confirmed that Ashbourne's Callow Hall Hotel is among 26 hotels it is selling on behalf of the administrators of von Essen Hotels Ltd.

The award-winning Mappleton Lane Hotel, which recently announced record 100 per cent occupancy figures during May, will be on the market alongside a portfolio of luxury country hotels owned by the von Essen brand - which fell into administration in May.

Also on sale in Ashbourne, again by Christie and Co, is Thorpe's Peveril of the Peak Hotel which is currently on sale for £1.25 million after it went into administration in September last year.
