THE Adult Education Community Centre is the latest venue to host a "masterclass" from the charity Look Good, Feel Better, which helps women combat the visible and emotional impacts of cancer treatment.

The two-hour class will be led by Christina Proctor, together with local image consultant Jan Walding. They will guide participants through a specially designed 10-step skincare and make-up routine.

The aim is to help develop the confidence and wellbeing of people who have been affected by any sort of cancer, helping to improve their self-image and appearance.

Participants will be supported by Macmillan Readycall volunteers, who have already been trained by Christina and Jan.

If the class proves popular then it is planned to make it a regular feature on the Ashbourne calendar. The class will meet on Monday, April 28, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. To book a place, call Wendy Bullar on 01335 348600.
