MY name is Pam Nickleson, I am 85-years-old and I have lived in Ashbourne since I was 12-years-old. From that day until now I haven’t seen this town so clean.

Last week I asked my grandson to take me shopping as I can’t walk, I am always in a wheelchair.

The last time I went to town to do some shopping was March last year as my grandson does my shopping for me and the town was dirty – litter everywhere, it was disgusting.

Now it is so clean. There isn’t one piece of litter to be seen.

Everywhere I go it’s spotless. Every week I see this young man coming in my area litter picking I am so proud of you Vinny, you have done this town proud you never let this town down. You are incredible.

I know your gran would have been proud of you. She was always moaning to me about Ashbourne being the dirtiest town and thanks to you it is the cleanest I have ever seen it.

I hope our local council knows how much of a hard worker you are and hope they appreciate what you have done to this town.

So well done to you, I hope you continue keeping this town clean as we all know it’s all down to your hard work.

Well done young sir, keep up the good work because Ashbourne needs you.

Good lad.
