A COLLECTABLE framed and signed picture of the world-famous Red Arrows display team could raise funds for two Ashbourne charities.

Ashbourne Shrovetide dance committee is busy putting the final preparations to the annual dance, which this year takes place on Saturday, March 1, at the Empire Ballroom in King Edward Street and members have chosen two charities to benefit from funds raised.

The picture, which is number 470 of 500 produced, will be sold to the highest bidder in a silent auction to raise funds for the Ashbourne Defibrillator Project and Ashbourne Playaway.

People are invited to email a bid on the picture, which features signatures from the Red Arrows pilots and crew, and the highest bid will win the auction and keep the picture.

To find out more about the auction or the dance, or to make a bid in the auction, email pepsi1955@gmail.com

Tickets are still on sale, priced at £5.
