Bradley keep cup

BRADLEY retained the Challenge Cup for another season, with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Rose and Crown.

Their goals came from Jez Oborn, Rich Bailey and Jordan Cambell.

In the league, Bradley got back to winning ways with a 6-1 success at Kirk Langley, Mark Sellers scoring twice. they also beat Mayfield 7-0 Jez Oborn bagging a brace.

The Bridge didn't have a good week. After their impressive win against Brassington, they went down 2-1 to Westen, who have had a great start to the season.

They were also beaten 10-0 by Coach Rangers, for whom Josh Sears hit four and James Ingram, Alex Barry and Scott Lyon two apiece .

Coach Rangers, back in the league this season after a year away, are the early leaders after three wins from three games.

Rangers face a big test this week as they play Osmaston and last season's runners-up Rose and Crown.

Doveridge bounced back after the defeat to beat Red Lion 3-2, Mike Brewster scoring two.

New side Mappleton were unlucky not to get a win against Biggin when there was an unlikely scorer in goalkeeper Paul Williams, who netted late on to snatch a point.
