Name: James Scragg

Age: 22

Lives: Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent

Married: No

Children: Not that I’m aware of

I am:

an unused sub who’s easy to get along with, happy and in touch with nature.

Three things I like:

Stoke City Football Club, guitar and growing plants

Three things I don’t like:

Arsenal, pessimists and tomatoes

Up’ard/ Down’ard:

Don’t know, but I drove through Clifton once.

Born and bred:

Kingsley and Ipstones area.

Family matters:

My mum is Helen and my dad is Anthony and I have a brother, Edward who is 14.

I lived with them in Kinglsey until two months ago when my wings were spread and I set sail on an independent voyage into manhood.

Now I rent a house in Stoke with a few other lads.

I work at the Duke of York filling station near Ashbourne. It’s the family business.

I have a degree in journalism from Staffordshire University and I’d like to go into some kind of writing.

I am best at:

Guitar, writing, entertaining people.

My ideal holiday:

I’ll travel around the world first and let you know when I’ve made up my mind.

Favourite food:

A proper curry or a tuna pasta bake.

Inspired by:

Matt Bellamy from Muse, the animator David Firth, Russell Brand, Noel Fielding, Seth Rogan, Bob Marley and Afroman.

Proudest Moment:

I haven’t really got one yet, I’m still aiming for that, but at the moment probably graduating.

If you ruled the world:

I’d change everything.

In the words of the late, great Bob Marley: Don’t Worry, Be Happy.
