POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a pub in which charity box cash was stolen.

The offence happened between 2am and 8.30am last Monday, April 21, at the Miners Arms in Miner's Hill in Brassington.

Police said someone broke into the property and stole cash from charity collection boxes which were behind the bar and as well as an undisclosed sum of cash from the living quarters.
