CRICH Crich Tramway Village is extending an invitation to classic Ford owners to join in with a celebration of the historic mark next month.

To celebrate more than 100 years of Fords in the UK, all types of classic Ford cars are invited, from Anglias and Prefects to the more recent Escorts and Cortinas.

There will also be club stands, trade stands, and street entertainment.

Timed vehicle parades will also feature in the event, with the classic Fords driving though the Village’s recreated period street, weaving in and out of the vintage tram service.

A spokesman for the award-winning attraction said: “The Tramway village creates a unique atmosphere for vehicle rallies with its recreated village street and rides on vintage trams.

“The events are always very well attended and much loved by vehicle owners.

“Our regulars thoroughly enjoy the day, but we would also like to extend a warm invitation to classic Ford owners who have perhaps never participated before.”

To find out more and order a booking form call 01773 854321 or visit the website at www.tramway.co.uk.

Crich Tramway Village is open daily until November 3.

Admission prices are £13 for adults, £11.50 for seniors and £8 for children.
