A DERBY-based theatre company is to present a new show in the city.
Maison Foo will stage their debut performance of their new production Pendulums Bargain Emporium at Deda on Saturday, March 2.
The group attracted national attention with their highly acclaimed sell-out show Memoirs of A Biscuit Tin.
Maison Foo spokesman Steve Forster, said: “Welcome to Pendulums, purveyors of everything you’ve ever wanted and more.
“But everything has a price...what are you willing to pay?
“Pendulums Bargain Emporium is set in a shop where happiness and success are just one simple transaction away.
“Inspired by ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’ Maison Foo entice audiences to join them on a dark and shameless journey that treads that fine line between greed and necessity, raising the question ‘how far will we go to make ourselves happy?’ This desperate tale of slavery and greed, told with humour, intimacy and charm uses an inventive blend of storytelling, live music, clowning and puppetry to seek the answer.”
The first performance of Pendulums Bargain Emporium, and the start of a short spring tour, is at 8pm and tickets are £8 and £10.
