ASHBOURNE enjoyed a mini heat-wave yesterday and today is even hotter - but what are you doing to make the most of it?

The sun may have gone in but, whether you are in the office or having fun in the park, we want to know whether you are enjoying the heat, or it's getting too much for you?

Among those enjoying the sunshine yesterday were old school friends Joe Shrimpling, Elise Warner, Alice Toons-More and Anne Bunting who met up in the Memorial Gardens this afternoon.

Meanwhile, people are being warned to take extra care with temperatures predicted to reach a scorching 30C today.

The Met Office has announced a level-two health alert, which means there is a 60% chance of temperatures being high enough on at least two consecutive days to have a significant effect on health.
