School pupils injured in bus crash
Four school pupils and a driver have been injured in a crash involving a double-decker bus and a van.
The accident happened on Kinclaven Road, near Murthly, Perthshire, at about 8.15am on Friday.
The bus was carrying four secondary school children when it collided with a red Volkswagen Caravelle van.
The 34-year-old van driver was trapped in his vehicle and had to be cut free by the fire service.
He sustained a head injury and a broken collarbone in the crash, and was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where his condition is described as "serious but not life-threatening", Tayside Police said.
A 15-year-old schoolboy on board the bus suffered a slight shoulder injury and was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
Three other children on the bus suffered minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment, while the 60-year-old bus driver was uninjured, police said.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident but it has now reopened.
