THE Squizzo floor mop takes floor cleaning to a new level.
The design of the mop means that it leaves your floor drier, streak-free and removes stubborn dirt easier than traditional mop heads.
The answer lies in the unique mop head (which is replaceable, priced £5.99).
Unlike traditional string or fibre mop heads, and unlike sponge mop heads, the Squizzo is a mixture of five honeycomb fingers with integral chamois leather.
The five-finger design ensures an adequate clean no matter how you position the mop head — cleaning under tables has never been as easy.
This Italian-made mop head is held in place with a chamois leather — this leather helps to remove excess water and ensures a drier finish.
The key to this mop working well is the all-metal handle. A lever on the handle operates a pair of rollers which run over the outer-edge of the mop squeezing almost every drop of water out of the five-finger head.
This handle can be quite stiff to operate as it places the mop head under intense pressure but the process does get easier the more you use the mop.
This square mop head is not really suitable for a traditional mop bucket and therefore the purpose-made recycled plastic mop bucket is highly recommended.
With four casters for easy movement and a large full-width handle, this bucket with its large capacity is suitable for not only the Squizzo but also car washing and window cleaning.
