I CANNOT contain my excitement and the overwhelming support and attendance to our festive pamper night at the Royal Oak held on November 21.
More than 100 people attended and the atmosphere was so fantastic.
Myself and Georgina have a lot of thank you messages to make.
Firstly I would like to thank Georgina and her team who ended up providing beauty treatments well after time to avoid disappointment, they were brilliant and so busy all evening.
We would like to thank Mike Burton and staff at the Royal Oak and all the helpers. Without their support and time it would not have been possible: Mick Baldy, Hilary Sayer, Elaine Whitcroft, Claire Price, Sandra Munro. We would like to thank The Anthony Nolan Trust committee who also provided support on the night.
We are so grateful to you all.
We would like to thank Sonya Williamson from Ashbourne Business Centre for our flyers.
A huge thank you also to all who attended on the night and those who sent donations including Wilf Allen on behalf of the Ashbourne Running Club social event, donated £58.
We would like to thank the stall holders who donated generously on the night, as well as all the local businesses who donated raffle prizes.
Without all this support we would not raised the amount we did.
£800 has been raised so far and will be split between Macmillan Cancer Support and The Anthony Nolan Trust.
Myself and Georgina are so happy, grateful and thankful to everyone. We could not have asked for a more well attended magically relaxed pamper evening! We are already planning future events for 2013. Watch this space...
We would also like to thank Natalie Wakefield and The Ashbourne News Telegraph for printing our event and spreading the word.
Thanks again we just can’t thank everyone enough...
SOPHIE WALLACE AND GEORGINA WAIN
