Come on, give the market a chance

WELL done to the market stall holders who set up on tables after the market stalls had been stolen last Thursday! These are the people that the council want to oust just so that they can get more money from the parking. It is not guaranteed that more revenue will be made just that it will be spread over Shawcroft and the Market Place.

(It is high time that the parking fee was reduced and then we might find more people stopping off in Ashbourne.) We should try and encourage more stall holders to come and the locals to use the market more. It is time we put people and their livelihood first! Come on Ashburnians. Don’t just go into the supermarkets. Visit the market and see what bargains you can get.
