ALL three political parties have rushed headlong into taking us into the EU but none of them know if they have the people of our country behind them in this, in fact, they have never bothered to ask us.

All parties are rushing us into huge expense to combat global warming caused not by the natural cycle (of which we have a very accurate historical record). But by our love of the automobile, that gas guzzler, which has been around now for 115 years, pouring out its nasty CO2 and our desire for warmth, light and cooking fuel.

We should never have burnt coal or taken out and used north sea oil and gas. No, no ,no. We are naughty, naughty, naughty.

Well we are not. We are well balanced, intelligent, enlightened and questioning. We recognise dogma for what it is as also political deceit, spin, lies and posturing and we have certainly had our belly full of it and we are sick of your arrogance, conceit and contempt .

Without the invention of the automobile we would never have managed to feed the growing world population. Ships can only take supplies coast to coast. It is the automobile that gets the goods to and from the ships. To and from farms and factory. That keeps people in employment.

We progress through innovation. Science that is open and transparent. Proved right or wrong by examination and debate.

Tried and tested. There is no future from blind acceptance as there is no future in the politics that deny this.

Today we move from one crisis to another, from blunder to blunder. Their war cry is ‘no matter what we say or do they will still vote for us ‘and their policies and promises are on the ‘ Never, Never’.

We should now be seriously asking the question ‘why do we need so many MPs? ‘or indeed ‘why do we need any at all?’ Their debates are now meaningless. They carry no authority as they have given this away and it is all make believe, a pretence and just a way of spinning out the time.

They have lost the respect of the electorate and left us to slip on the icy pavement or sit in contemplation in our vehicles while we wait for the man made thaw .
