A RESIDENTIAL centre in Ilam is throwing open its doors to the public to help explain the work it does.

Dovedale House is owned by Lichfield Diocese, and is a residential centre for schools, universities, youth clubs and workplaces.

It is holding a free open day on Saturday, August 30, from 11am until 4pm.

As well as guided tours, there will be displays on the work Dovedale House does with young people, and on life in West Malaysia, the home of Christopher who is currently working with the team.
