OSMASTON clinched a narrow 1-0 win against basement side Weston to remain on top of the Summer Football League.

Coach Rangers are five points behind them in second after winning a high-scoring encounter with Mappleton, finishing on top 7-4.

Brassington are fifth after leap-frogging Doveridge, beating them 4-0.

Fourth-placed Rose & Crown also celebrated a 4-0 victory, calling the shots against The Bridge, who are ninth.

Biggin picked up maximum points after squeezing past Kirk Langley 1-0 and that was the same margin that separated Bradley and FC Hulland. In that game, Bradley were the victors to strengthen their grip on third place.

The only draw in the Thursday night games was shared by Mayfield and Wheel Inn, who were locked at 1-1 at the final whistle.
