THE family of Alan Hodkinson has announced that the funeral of Ashbourne's former Mayor and Deputy Mayor, who died on Tuesday morning, will take place on Wednesday, January 23.
Mr Hodkinson will be remembered at St Peter's Church in Snelston at noon.
Any donations can be made to Ashbourne Diabetic Clinic and a request has been made for family flowers only.
The family has also asked that anyone attending the funeral does not wear black, but dresses in colourful clothing.
