IN RESPONSE to the letters in last weeks paper regarding appointments at Doctors.
Firstly thank you to the person that has had the same problem as my husband trying to get a appointment, I am glad that we are not the only ones having problems and that I might consider doing what that person did by registering as a new patient at Ashbourne medical practice, as I have several friends who are registered there and have no problems booking a appointment.
Secondly in response to Mrs B Smith’s letter stating that when my husband could be bothered to do something about it and couldn’t get his own way that they penned a letter to the local press.
The reason I penned a letter to the local press was because this is not the first time that this has happened and probably wont be the last and I wanted to see what the response I got and HEY BINGO another lady with the same problem.
Thirdly, regarding the other person’s letter, I was not complaining about the doctors themselves, when you do get to see the doctors they do their job. I was complaining about the hassle of making an appointment,
Maybe I will contact the practice manager like Mrs Smith said in her letter and tell them it’s time for a review of that stupid system that infuriates people and see what happens.
