ASHBOURNE'S Thursday market traders have had to sell their products from the cobbles this morning, after all their stalls were stolen in the early hours of the morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a Mayfield Road depot belonging to Derbyshire Dales District Council was raided some time between 4am and 5.10am.
Two trailers, containing the stalls and market equipment, along with tools for the cemetery including strimmers, were taken after hinges to the depot's gates were unscrewed.
One trailer was later found at a farm in Darley Moor and one of three strimmers was discovered close by after it fell from the trailer while being towed away.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Derbyshire Police on 101.
