A SURVIVOR of the world’s largest manmade non-nuclear explosion has written a book about the blast.
Valerie Hardy was a schoolgirl when the accidental explosion at RAF Fauld in 1944 devastated the area killing 70 people.
Her collection of photographs and eye witness accounts, called Voices From The Explosion, will be launched at Ashbourne Bookshop today between 2pm and 4pm.
