BACK to normal with a regular Monday market and a decent turnout of 557 cattle and 3,183 sheep.
Trade solid in all sections with some spectacular highlights throughout the sale.
195 store cattle on offer, a moderate entry suggesting that with the settled spell of fine weather there is little pressure to market stock, for reasons of keep or ground conditions.

Heifers peaked at £1,065 and bulls £1,040.
The OTM section accumulated a creditable show of 122 head with trade stronger than ever, top prices 198p/kg and £1,371 per head and the average a remarkable 133p.
