AFTER the chancellor knocks 1p off a pint of beer in today's budget, Ashbourne Beer Festival organisers, Mark Grist and Dave Leigh take a break from setting up Ashbourne's beer festival to celebrate the cut.

The town's first ever independent beer festival takes place from 1pm on Friday in Ashbourne and will run throughout the wekend.
