THE parent company of one of the town’s largest employers has announced changes in the firm’s leadership team.
Moy Park’s CEO Nigel Dunlop (pictured) has retired from the business after six years in the role and 33 years in the consumer goods sector.
Since joining Moy Park, which has a plant in the industrial estate in 2008, Mr Dunlop has played a pivotal role in the complete reorganisation and turnaround of the business. Moy Park has since achieved record levels of profitability and has almost doubled in size during the period.
A spokesman said: “Nigel has successfully led Moy Park through one of the most challenging periods in recent times and leaves behind him a proud legacy of a strong, profitable and growing business which is today recognised as one of Europe’s leading food companies.”
Nigel will remain in the role of CEO Moy Park until the end of this year.
On January 1 next year Janet McCollum, Moy Park’s group finance director, will take over the role of CEO at the Europe arm of the firm.
