PRIME CATTLE - Auctioneer: Charles Hollis
Week after week we keep blinding our competitors. Highest OTM average for six markets and highest clean cattle average.
Please observe the MLC figures below.
Although we continually leave our competitors trailing behind, numbers are still disappointing and without being rude we are contemplating, in conjunction with the NFU, a marketing course.
Very good bullocks, with a Limousin steer topping the section at 259p/Kg (£1683.50) from P A Hammersley, Nr Brailsford. Just free from TB, Mr Hammersley did contemplate dead weight but after a discussion with his family he decided to stick with the old boy and send it to market!
Richard Naylor saw the bullock and thought what a good bullock it was, nearly as good as the one he is bringing next week.
