A FARMER was airlifted to hospital after suffering from a stroke.
The 64-year-old man was flown to the Royal Derby Hospital for treatment after he had felt unwell and gone weak down one side of his body.
Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance were called to the Ashbourne area farm on Monday at around midday and, after landing the helicopter in his garden, airlifted the man to Derby where he was met by the stroke team.
