THESE adorable bundles of fluff are probably among the first lambs born this year — and they’ve left proud farmer George Spencer scratching his head as to why they’re so early.
Usually lambing season starts for Mr Spencer, from Kirk Langley, in early March but this trio appeared one afternoon a few weeks ago.
Mr Spencer (pictured) said: “We had an inkling she was due early, as she had udders and the other ewes didn’t — but we’ve no idea how it happened. The labour went very well and thankfully it’s a bit warmer now so they can go outside with her.”
