A FOLK night at a village church has raised £1,000 for church funds.
Organisers of the event, at Holy Trinity Church in Clifton have expressed thanks to everyone who supported the night.
The act putting on the show was the ‘Travelling People’.
A spokesman for the organisers told the News Telegraph: “An enormous thank you goes out to all who supported this event and helped to make it so enjoyable.”
The church, which was built in the late 19th Century, is located in Church View.
