A TEENAGE motorist had to be airlifted to hospital after crashing her car near to Tissington.
Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance crews flew to the scene on Saturday, at around 9.30am, and rescuers had to scale fences to reach the Citroen C1, which had rolled over several times.
The 18-year-old woman, from Parwich, was suffering injuries to her head, neck and chest and the helictopter crew, which had arrived in just eight minutes, landed in a nearby field with crew having to scale fences to reach the lady before taking her to Royal Derby Hospital.
