AT JCB Aademy, in Rocester, more than 50 per cent of all A level grades awarded to students were at A*, A or B.
Eighty six per cent of students achieved an A* to C grade, 25 per cent achieved A* or A grades in engineering and 60 per cent achieved A* to B grades in mathematics.
Of the academy’s engineering and business programmes, 100 per cent of the students passed their exams and are moving on to undertake a wide range of programmes at university or into employment.
Jim Wade, Principal, said: “we are delighted that the hard work of students and staff has paid off so handsomely with so many top grades.
“This is a fantastic achievement and has enabled our students to progress onto the university or employer of their choice.”
