A RURAL school is to host an open day, allowing children and families to view their newborn lambs.
Abbotsholme School in Rocester has a 70 acre working farm and pupils at the school have been in lambing duty for almost a fortnight.
Head of estate education, Christina Liddle, said, “It is really important for pupils to experience the whole life cycle of the animals on the farm, from farm to fork.”
The open day at Abbotsholme is on Saturday, March 9 from 9.30am.
