Marathon runner says thank you

MARATHON runner Steve Bloor has expressed his thanks to all the people who supported him as he took on this year’s London Marathon.

marathon colour.jpgMr Bloor, a Shrovetide goal scorer, ran the world-famous event with his friend Rupert King and he managed to raise £1,530 for the Animal Health Trust.

Mr King, from Clifton, who was running for Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, raised £2,000.

Mr Bloor said he was grateful to everyone for their support and donations and has hinted he hopes to run in next year’s event.
