MARATHON runner Steve Bloor has expressed his thanks to all the people who supported him as he took on this year’s London Marathon.
Mr Bloor, a Shrovetide goal scorer, ran the world-famous event with his friend Rupert King and he managed to raise £1,530 for the Animal Health Trust.
Mr King, from Clifton, who was running for Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, raised £2,000.
Mr Bloor said he was grateful to everyone for their support and donations and has hinted he hopes to run in next year’s event.
