LADIES Morris Dance side ‘Chip off the old’ are inviting people to practice sessions where people can join the new dancers already booked in and try a few steps and meet the regular dancers.
Courses begin on Wednesday next week from 8pm until 10pm at Holy Family Church Hall, Blenheim Drive in Allestree.
course continue on October 16 at St Mary’s Community Centre in Darley Lane.
Casual clothes are advised and the first lesson is free, followed by a charge of £2 per week.
During the summer months ‘Chip off the Old’ dance at festivals including Bakewell Day of Dance, as well as performing at pubs, where they are joined by other Morris Dance sides.
