AN ASHBOURNE manufacturing firm has been recruiting new staff to help support its rapid growth in to domestic and international markets.
Bosses at MasterMover, which designs and makes electric tugs from its base in the Airfield Industrial Estate, have been on the lookout for candidates in all departments of the business as it continues to bolster its export range.
Its tugs are used by pedestrian operators to move heavy loads around factory or warehouse floors and, in addition to supplying some of the UK’s top manufacturers, retailers and healthcare establishments, the firm also distributes products around the world.

The firm, which has also recently founded its first international subsidiary, MasterMover GmbH, in Germany, set out to find a UK Sales Manager among the new recruits on its wish list and the successful applicant will look after major national accounts as well as leading the company’s strong UK sales team.
A marketing executive is also being recruited to deliver and generate qleads through increased brand awareness and direct marketing campaigns.
With exports continuing to grow, the company is also creating new positions for managing export territory Sales.
Successful candidates will have an additional European language in order to provide MasterMover with a primary point of contact forits export customers.
Bosses have added that they are always interested in hearing from capable mechanical and electronic engineers.
