A SPECIAL briefing about the route of the Olympic Torch is to be held in Ashbourne on Monday.
The briefing is the first in a series of meetings across the county to finalise plans for the Olympic relay as it travels through Derbyshire on Friday, June 29, on its way to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Attendance at the meeting, which is at 10am on Monday at Ashbourne Leisure Centre, is free, but places must be booked by emailing Jim Oribine on jim.oribine@visitpeakdistrict.com.
