A CONVICTED robber has escaped from a prison near Ashbourne.
Daljeet Dhadwal, 34, was sentenced to eight years and 11 months for robbery at Birmingham Crown Court in July 2010.
Dhadwal, who is described as Asian, 5ft 9in tall, of slim build with cropped hair and brown eyes, escaped from HMP Sudbury on Tuesday, March 5.
