AN ASHBOURNE clothing store has held its last fashion show at its current home before it moves to the Green Man Royal Hotel.
Young Ideas invited 100 guests to a ‘Great Gatsby’-themed show, and the shop, off St John Street, was adorned with white marabou feathers and oversized pearls.
The event was one of many held by the store bosses, aimed at showcasing the season’s new ranges and lines and, in this instance, it was a chance to introduce a new range of menswear to the store’s catwalk for the first time, since it was introduced this year.
Owner Anne Wright said: “Our seasonal fashion shows are hugely popular and a great way of presenting this seasons key looks in a relaxed and social atmosphere
“The event was particularly important as it’s the last celebration held in the businesses current location, before the move to the Green Man in early October.
Following a major re-fit, the Green Man Royal Hotel’s former bars will become the new home of Young Ideas on Tuesday.
