HUNDREDS of Santas will walk and run at Carsington next month to raise money for a children’s hospice.
The Rotary Club of Wirksworth are organising their annual Santa Fun Run on Sunday, December 2 at Carsington Water in aid of Rainbows Children’s Hospices.
The course is 5km and the event is open to runners, fun runners, pub or works teams and families to run, jog or walk in Santa outfits supplied with the entry fee. Admission for adults is £10, families of four are £25, under 16s can enter for £7.50, under 11s £5.50 and under sevens enter free but need to bring their own Santa suit.
