ScaffoldingSAFETY fencing may have to be erected around scaffolding in St John Street ahead of next week’s Royal Shrovetide football game.
Derbyshire County Council are in talks with builders at 5 St John Street where work is underway on the roof and chimney of the building.
A county council spokesman said: “We are assessing whether the work that is going on is at a stage where we can safely have it removed or make alternative arrangements.”
