STAFF at Derby Hospitals have recommended their workplace in a national survey.
A nation-wide survey of hospital staff revealed that 80 per cent or more of the staff at Derby Hospitals were satisfied with their quality of work, felt their role made a difference to patients, felt the hospitals promoted equal opportunities and were supported by relevant training.
Karen Martin is the director of workforce management at Derbyshire Hospitals. She said: “Overall the results of this year’s survey are encouraging and we are delighted that staff would recommend Derby Hospitals as a place to receive treatment and work. We recognise that there are still some areas we need to improve on and we will be focussing on these over the next few months.”
