A SURVEY has been launched to gauge opinion on whether the year-old post of police and crime commissioner has been effective.
In November last year Derbyshire and Staffordshire saw their first ever PCCs appointed into roles following the disbanding of the police authority.
This week police bosses want to hear from people living in the counties to report experiences and thoughts on whether the role has improved local policing.
The survey, which is online, must be completed before Friday and can be found by visiting www.surveymonkey.com/s/NHW_PCC_survey
Anyone taking part in the survey remains anonymous.
