A COAT worth £60 has been taken from a clothing shop near Ashbourne, by a thief who left a tatty anorak in exchange.
The brand new coat was snatched from its rail at a clothing store in Carsington Water’s courtyard on Sunday, February 24 and a black winter coat with tears and white paint stains was left in its place.
Staff have kept hold of the distinctive abandoned coat in the hope its owner might be traced.
