AN Ashbourne take-away and restaurant is offering gluten intolerant people a way to enjoy a traditional plate of fish and chips.
The Market Place chip shop will be serving the gluten-free dish in addition to its existing menu every Monday.
Owner Perry Eleftheriou said: “We are adding this service because we heard a lot of people are unable to enjoy our cooking simply because of their food intolerance.
“At the moment we only serve the gluten-free fish and chips on Mondays, but if our customers tell us they want us to add a bigger selection of this type of food then we will happily look into it and see what we can do.”
