27/12/12 Generic NHS pic for letters page - NorthamptonNHS*VIDEOS demonstrating ways to tackle malnutrition in older people have been created to boost a county council campaign.
The Eat Well campaign, backed by Age UK Derbyshire and the NHS, aims to raise awareness of malnutrition in older people and offer advice in calorie-boosting through three videos on the county council website.
County Councillor Carol Hart said: “There are about three million undernourished older people in the UK and it costs public services about £13bn a year in things like unavoidable hospital admissions.”
