A BUSINESS based in a village near Ashbourne has won a second funding contract from The Prince’s Countryside Fund.
The boost will enable Growing Rural Enterprise, in Sudbury, to provide business advice, mentoring and support for rural businesses to help them to become more sustainable.
The firm sets out to work with young people who would like to set up a business or would like help with an existing business and those in upland areas.
Director Nick Platt (right) said: “We are really happy and honoured to have this funding as it makes a huge difference to the rural economy.
“So far we have helped people with marketing, social media, creating a cash flow, costing and pricing, managing time, technology and much more.
“It’s been great to see the development of people and their businesses”
The Prince’s Countryside Fund has donated £3.3 million in grants across the UK
