Wedding florist's blooms are big news thanks to feature

AN ASHBOURNE wedding florist is looking forward to seeing her business blossom after her flower displays were featured in a national magazine.

Nadia Di Tullio, who works from a workshop in Derby Road, Ashbourne said she was thrilled to see her work printed in the monthly ‘Wedding Flowers and Accessories’ magazine, which was published on Valentine’s Day and is one of the most popular magazines for wedding planners.

Miss Di Tullio, 37, who also delivers flower design and arrangement classes at Kedleston Hall and Sticky Fingers, fashioned a bouquet, a table centre, a button-hole and a table wreath for the magazine feature’s photo-shoot.

She said: “I was thrilled to see my work in a magazine I’ve been reading for years, it makes all the early starts and very late nights worth it.”

After falling in love with flowers at the age of five, Miss Di Tullio eventually turned her back on a career in the fitness industry to follow her heart and train in the art of floristry.

She acquired a BTEC Level Three national award at Broomfield Hall and her business, specialising in arranging floral displays for weddings and other events, began on these footings.
